Norwegian Lobster Farm
Object detection technology is used in a lobster project to identify lobsters at various stages of development, with the goal of increasing survival rate. This is achieved by identifying lobster stages and separating them into different chambers.
This process involves monitoring their growth and systematically sorting the larvae using computer vision, thereby optimizing survival rates. This process is expected to increase the output of full-grown lobsters. Grading of pelagic juveniles is enhanced through CVS, enabling precise feeding for individual lobsters. Real-time monitoring and individual tracking are achieved using AI, robotics, and image processing.
